Press the first tile into the glue in the corner and tap gently with a rubber mallet. On the corner of the tile, press a joint cross into the glue. Then apply the next tile in the other corner of the joint cross. Check regularly with a spirit level whether the tiles are straight. |

For the border tiles, mark out the cut surface, taking into account the joint width. In the case of ceramic tiles, push a knife across the tile several times until a scratch appears in the glaze, then break the tile yourself. Cut the shape of a pipe or tube out of the tile with a tile saw. |
| Step 5: Jointing |
Let the adhesive harden for 24 hours. Apply the grout into the joints with a rubber trowel, but be careful; grout hardens quickly. Remove the spilled grout with a damp sponge. |

Kit all seams with an elastic mould-free sealant. |
